Oliver Messiaen: Quartet for the End of Time
 
Join Festival artists at the sun-drenched Tolosa Winery for an elegant dinner of farm-to-table California cuisine, then music director Scott Yoo will lead an exploration of this transformative work for clarinet, violin, cello and piano, which was performed for the first time in a German work camp during World War II. You’ll learn about this piece and its provenance, both of which prove music’s unique power to transcend the darkest moments.
