We begin with a selection from Telemann's Tafelmusik\, a collection of chamber works for varying ensembles that was the composer's most ambitious publication during his lifetime. The horn takes a leading role in Mozart's delightful Horn Quintet\, and the clarinet follows suit in Brahms' Clarinet Quintet.
