SUMMARY:Women in Business May 2026
DESCRIPTION:Women In Business: May 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Women in Business Luncheon is a space intentionally created for connection\, growth\, and real conversation. Designed for women across all industries and stages of their careers\, this program brings together leaders\, entrepreneurs\, and rising professionals to share insights\, exchange ideas\, and build meaningful relationships that extend far beyond the room.\n\nAt its core\, the purpose of Women in Business is to foster a strong\, supportive network where women feel seen\, heard\, and empowered. Each luncheon features inspiring speakers\, relevant topics\, and opportunities for authentic connection\, because we believe that when women come together with purpose\, incredible things happen.\n\nFrom practical business insights and leadership strategies to the confidence that comes from being in a room full of like-minded women\, attendees leave feeling energized\, inspired\, and better equipped to grow personally and professionally.\n\n\n\nSpeakers for this month include:\n\n\n\n\n\nMolly Scott - The Art of Persuasion\n\nThis month's featured speaker is Molly Scott\, an accomplished business leader with deep roots in both agriculture and community leadership. Drawing from her tenure as a grape buyer for JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery - as well as her work as a trusted community partner and philanthropist - she has earned a seat at many tables where influence\, strategy\, and long-term relationships matter most.\n\n\n\nIn this practical presentation on "The Art of Persuasion\," she will explore how to truly understand your audience\, prepare with intention for negotiations\, and - most importantly - level the playing field to build lasting\, mutually beneficial partnerships. With firsthand insight into managing up and coaching others through high-stakes strategy conversations\, she will share real stories\, relevant examples\, and proven tactics from her professional toolkit.\n\n\n\nAttendees will leave with actionable advice and a thoughtful takeaway to consider before their next business meeting - empowered to negotiate with confidence\, lead with clarity\, and cultivate partnerships that endure.\n\n \n\nKaryn Blaney | ArtSocial 805 - Why Art Is Essential to Being Human\n\nIn a world driven by productivity\, many of us have quietly lost touch with something essential - our creativity. This talk explores why art isn't just for artists\, but a critical part of our mental well-being\, confidence\, and connection at every stage of life.\n\n\n\nYou'll discover how creativity fuels innovation in business\, helping leaders think differently\, inspire their teams\, and create meaningful experiences. Through real stories and powerful insights\, you'll be challenged to reflect on when you stopped creating - and why it matters more than you think. And most importantly\, you'll leave with a simple invitation to start again.\n\n \n\nMarianna Hargrave | Emmit Herrington Memorial Fund\n\nThe Emmit Herrington Memorial Fund was established in memory of late Eagle Scout Emmit Herrington to assist Scouting families who have financial challenges. We support members of both Paso Robles Troop 60 (boys) and 1602 (girls) so they can participate in events such as summer camps\, high adventure camps\, or other troop related activities. Emmit loved his many Scouting adventures\, and we wish to pass on his love of nature and Scouting to others.\n\n\n\nChristine Dawson | The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County\n\nThe Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County was founded in 1998 by local leaders who believed in the enduring generosity of this place we call home. They envisioned a permanent charitable resource created by and for the people of San Luis Obispo County that would steward local gifts\, strengthen nonprofits\, and respond to the needs of our community for generations to come. Nearly three decades later\, that vision continues to guide the organization. They are a trusted partner for philanthropy and a catalyst for community impact. Through the generosity of donors\, families\, and organizations across the county\, they steward charitable funds that support every corner of our region\, from education and the arts to housing\, animals\, health\, the environment\, and economic opportunity.\n\n \n\nFeatured Winery | Kaleidos\n\nWhere family\, passion\, and craftsmanship come together in every handcrafted bottle. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThank You To Our Event Sponsors
