IT ALL STARTED WITH….
…a marketing guy with no restaurant experience. A head chef with a disposition that would make Gordon Ramsay blush. A rag tag staff of hard working pizza nerds.
Together, we opened The Planing Mill Artisan Pizzeria in Visalia in 2013. A few years and many lessons learned later, we were named 2017 Small Business of the Year by the local Chamber of Commerce.
Shortly after, we moved from a 2,000 square foot facility with shaky A/C and one bathroom into a 5,000 s/f palace of pizza and craft beer.
So here we are in Paso. New brand, same award winning pies. Our owners are locals now, having relocated from the Valley in 2016.
At Sweet Lew’s, our goal is simple—great pies, great service, great times. We are excited to share our one-of-a-kind pizzas with you. We call it a hybrid New York/California/New Haven pie that’s pretty much all our own.
Our atmosphere is fun, casual, vintage rock and roll. We’re a little rough around the edges, but we’ll grow on you!
