Sound in Clay | A Concert Ceremony
Surround yourself in the ancient sound of clay in modern harmony on Friday, November 17th at 7:30pm. Hans Houkes and Alan Tower, the Innate Clay Duo, will create a one-of-a-kind musical experience with Netherland singing sculptures that have been designed to stimulate our inborn ability to listen from within and play from the inside out. Performing compositions and improvisations from their upcoming album “Innate Clay”, our French-inspired Abbey offers ceremonial and sonic resonance for an acoustic adventure unlike any other. The sweet sounds of your journey will conclude with the Ceremony of Gratitude, led by Supriya Ishaya, where attendees will receive a personal sound experience to take home and will have the chance to play one of these unique instruments.
