Marian Regional Medical Center Welcomes First Baby of 2025
Healthy baby boy brings joy and excitement to local parents
SANTA MARIA, CA – January 1, 2025 – Marian Regional Medical Center is excited to announce that it has welcomed its first baby of the year!
Marian Regional welcomed a healthy baby boy, Jonathan, on Wednesday. He arrived at 7:58 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2025, weighing 7 pounds and measuring in at 20 inches.
Jonathan’s mother, Luz Tajonar Santiago, and father, Delfino Moreno Hidalgo, of Santa Maria, were delighted with their new bundle of joy. Sisters Amelia, 6, and Yamilett, 5, were excited to welcome their little brother into the world on New Year’s Day.
Nurses at Marian Regional Medical Center’s Family Birthing Center presented the family with a beautiful gift basket filled with goodies and essentials for the sweet newborn.
Both mom Luz and baby Jonathan are healthy and doing well.
