These plans aim to transform Niblick Road into a safer, more accessible, and aesthetically improved corridor for all users.

The Niblick Road Corridor project was developed after extensive planning and multiple community input sessions, including open houses, a design charrette, and field observations by PRHS students and corridor users. This final design presentation marks the culmination of a comprehensive community-driven planning effort that began in 2018.

Supported by a $17 million Active Transportation Program (ATP) Grant, the project will enable the City to move into the construction phase, implementing safety and accessibility improvements along Niblick Road. Enhancements will include new bike and pedestrian pathways, traffic calming measures, artistic and landscaping elements, and improved lighting. Additionally, a raised multi-use path will be installed to separate pedestrian and bike traffic from vehicle lanes, increasing safety and accessibility along the corridor.

This open house offers residents the opportunity to view final concept plans, discuss project specifics with City staff, and provide final input on the project that will shape a significant city transportation route.
