Regional Order Lifted - Back to Purple Tier

California Public Health Officials have lifted the Regional Stay at Home Order for all regions in California. Announced on Jan 25, the order for California is lifted and allows all counties to go back into the Tier System.

San Luis Obispo County reverts back to the Purple Tier.

This allows for:

  • Retail: Open indoors with modifications
  • Shopping Centers: Open indoors with modifications
  • Hair Salons & Barbershops: Open indoors with modifications
  • Places of Worship: Outdoor only with modifications
  • Hotels & Lodging: Open with modifications
  • Gyms & Fitness Centers: Outdoor only with modifications
  • Restaurants: Outdoor only with modifications
  • Wineries: Outdoor only with modifications

Because case rates remain high across most of the state, the state’s Hospital Surge Order remains in place to prevent hospitals from becoming overwhelmed.

The Limited Stay at Home Order, which limits non-essential activities between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., expires with the Regional Stay At Home Order ending.
