Clarification: County Restrictions

To slow the spread of COVID-19 across the state, the California Department of Public Health has ordered the closure of several industries in San Luis Obispo County, effective tomorrow until further notice from the State.
 
Tomorrow marks the third consecutive day that San Luis Obispo County has appeared on the watch list for exceeding the State’s criteria for its COVID-19 case rate. The following sectors are required to shut down unless they can be modified to operate outside or by pick-up as of 12:01 am on Thursday morning (modified operations required on Thursday, July 16, 2020 ): 

·       Fitness centers
·       Worship services
·       Indoor Protests
·       Offices for non-essential sectors (see essential critical infrastructure list here) 
·       Personal care services, like nail salons, body waxing and tattoo parlors (to date, SLO County has had massage falling under the personal care services category. Also, tattoo parlors can not legally operate outdoors)
·       Hair salons and barbershops
·       Indoor Malls

Clarification: State Restrictions

 
Bars, Brewpubs, Breweries, & Pubs: All operations (indoor and outdoor) statewide must close,  unless they are offering sit-down, outdoor dine-in meals. Bars, brewpubs, breweries and pubs can only sell alcohol in the same transaction as a meal.
 
Effective July 13, 2020, ALL counties closed indoor operations in these sectors: 
·       Dine-in restaurants
·       Wineries and tasting rooms
·       Movie theaters 
·       Family entertainment centers (for example: bowling alleys, miniature golf, batting cages and arcades)
·       Zoos and museums
·       Cardrooms
