First Wednesday Concert at Still Waters Vineyards with Way Out West Band

Way Out West Band is honky tonk, alt-country, and roots rock, with some hippie music thrown in for fun.
With their tight harmonies and hot licks, Way Out West has become the dance band to follow on the
Central Coast.

The WOW band consists of Nashville transplants, Valerie Powers (vocals and percussion), and Kelly Powers (vocals, lead guitar, and fiddle). Wayne Pearson plays a mean acoustic guitar in swing and gypsy style. Bob Hamilton is the premier pedal steel guitarist in the tri-county area. Vance Gibbon, on bass, lays down a funky groove to tighten up the rhythm section. Art Dougal keeps it steady and flashy all at the same time.
