TREE SPONSOR: Registration for Christmas Tree Auction
Sponsor a tree and support a nonprofit!
Tree Selection:
Type of Tree: Purchase an artificial Christmas tree.
Size and Style: Trees should be of appropriate size for display (ranging between 4-6 feet) and can reflect various themes or styles.
Decoration:
Theme: Get creative and choose a theme that sparkles! Let your business's personality shine through with a spectacular theme?after all, the more eye-catching, the more buzz you'll create at the auction!
Materials: Decorations can include lights, ornaments, garland, and other embellishments. All decorations must be safe and suitable for public display.
Adorn Your Tree With Gifts:
Gift Inclusion: Each tree must be adorned with a selection of purchased or donated gifts (e.g., themed gift baskets, electronics, toys and games, household items, gift certificates, handmade items, experiences, etc.) that will be included in the auction of the tree.
Gift Presentation: Gifts should be securely attached to the tree or presented attractively underneath the tree to enhance the overall aesthetic.
Nonprofit Selection:
Charity Designation: Each tree sponsor will choose a local nonprofit organization to receive the proceeds from the auction of their tree. The selected charity should align with community values and support local or regional needs and must be pre-approved by the Chamber.
Documentation: Sponsors may be required to provide information about the chosen nonprofit, including a certificate of their nonprofit status and their mission.
Auction Participation:
Commitment to Attend: Tree Sponsors are not obligated to attend the event, however, attendance is encouraged! Each business, along with their chosen nonprofit, will be introduced before the auction of their tree begins.
Promotion and Recognition:
Sponsor Acknowledgment: Sponsors will be recognized in auction materials, through social media promotions, and during the event.
Timeline
Application Deadline: All sponsorship applications must be submitted by November 20, 2024.
Tree Display: Trees must be decorated and displayed at your business?s location by November 25, 2024.
The Paso Robles and Templeton Chamber marketing team will visit your location to photograph your tree, and highlight your business and selected nonprofit on our social media pages throughout the two weeks leading up to the event.
EVENT DROP OFF: ALL DECORATED TREES AND GIFTS WILL NEED TO BE DROPPED OFF AT THE TEMPLETON LEGION HALL (805 S. Main Street, Templeton) BETWEEN 11:00AM - 1:00PM THE DAY OF THE EVENT (DECEMBER 5, 2024).
Post-Event Logistics: The winning bidder of the Christmas Trees will take their tree and all its adornments at the end of the evening. The Paso Robles & Templeton Chamber of Commerce will present a check to benefiting nonprofits.
