Our Women in Business Luncheon is a space intentionally created for connection, growth, and real conversation. Designed for women across all industries and stages of their careers, this program brings together leaders, entrepreneurs, and rising professionals to share insights, exchange ideas, and build meaningful relationships that extend far beyond the room.

At its core, the purpose of Women in Business is to foster a strong, supportive network where women feel seen, heard, and empowered. Each luncheon features inspiring speakers, relevant topics, and opportunities for authentic connection, because we believe that when women come together with purpose, incredible things happen.

From practical business insights and leadership strategies to the confidence that comes from being in a room full of like-minded women, attendees leave feeling energized, inspired, and better equipped to grow personally and professionally.

Marlee Aimone | Athlon Fitness & Performance
Marlee Aimone is a local fitness professional and General Manager & Coach at Athlon Fitness & Performance in Paso Robles. A former Division I Acrobatics & Tumbling student - athlete at the University of Oregon, she holds a B.S. in Human Physiology with a minor in Business Administration. With a background in competitive gymnastics, physical therapy, and athletic performance, Marlee is passionate about helping people build strength, confidence, and lifelong physical capability.

Jen Ots | Central Coast Supercuts
Central Coast Supercuts owner Jen Ots will offer a candid look at accountability, workplace culture, and the unique balance of operating within a large corporate brand while running a deeply local business. Through her own experiences, she’ll explore why strong leadership isn’t about keeping everyone happy, but it’s about setting clear expectations, investing in people, and creating a culture where both employees and the business can thrive.

Dessie Underwood | FARMstead ED
Dr. Dessie Underwood is a retired professor of ecology. She now co-owns and operates DW Farms Native Plant Nursery. She is speaking on behalf of the non-profit, FarmsteadED. FarmsteadED is a collaboration of SLO County family farms, ranches, nurseries, and other agricultural businesses. FARMstead ED benefits our local farms and producers as an agricultural network of likeminded people. Farmers, makers and our guests are introduced to who’s growing and making what, and where they can be found on the SLO County Farm Trail. In many cases, our locally grown becomes our locally made. From food sourcing for restaurants to ingredients for body care, our local farms and ranches produce top quality products that can be purchased directly from the farm, via farmers markets and local retail shops.
