People Operations Administrator- Payroll & HRIS

A well-established wine industry company in Paso Robles is seeking a People Operations Administrator with strong payroll expertise and HRIS proficiency. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate payroll processing, data integrity, compliance, and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage accurate, timely payroll for weekly and bi-weekly employees.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes, and ensure data integrity within the payroll system.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee records, and HR reporting.
  • Partner with managers to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support HR initiatives, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.
  • Handle sensitive employee data with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HR systems, and perform audits as necessary.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of payroll experience (strong plus if in ag or wine industry.)
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and other office software tools.
  • Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team.
Pay
  • $30–$33/hr DOE
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (in office position)
