Hidden Creek Screening in Paso Robles at Park Cinema: Thursday, May 23 at 6:00pm

Announcing the test screening of the locally filmed and produced movie “Hidden Creek.” This film tells the story of Jimmy, an elderly rancher who fears he might be losing his mind and suspects his son and daughter of furthering his dementia so they can sell the ranch out from under him. Filmed in our own San Luis Obispo County backyard on the lands of northern SLO County, written by local screenwriter, Steve Brody, and produced by local graduates of Coast Union High School in Cambria, Julian Mercado and Darien Jewel, this movie will certainly tear at your heart strings.

Hidden Creek presents a contemporary interpretation of the traditional rancher’s story. A tale that addresses themes of dementia, generational land preservation, grief associated with losing a loved one and their impact on small family dynamics.

Join in the test screening of this film on Thursday, May 23 at 6:00pm at the Park Cinema Theater in Paso Robles. As editing is in the final stages, viewers will get a rare opportunity to suggest changes they'd like to see in a film before its distribution.
