Peachy Canyon’s Pivot to Smaller Production Delivers Latest Accolades for their 2024 Vintage

TEMPLETON, Calif. Sep 21, 2026 — Driven by a pivot in 2020 to craft less than 9,000 cases of dynamic, ultra-premium estate wine, Peachy Canyon Winery and the Beckett family continue to earn major industry acclaim, adding seven Gold and Best of Class awards for their 2024 lineup to their previous 2023 "Winery of the Year" title at the Central Coast Wine Competition. Now they’ve brought in critical acclaim from Jeb Dunnuck on the same 2024 vintage of wines.

In a recent review, wine critic Jeb Dunnuck commended the winery's flagship varietal, Zinfandel, stating, “It's a clear standout here as well as a beautiful wine.” The single-varietal Zinfandels anchored the critical acclaim, highlighted by the 2024 Especial and 2024 Nancy’s View receiving 93 and 92 points, respectively.

The acclaim extended across the entire 2024 lineup, with the Concrete Rouge earning 91 points as a "juicy, lively wine." The GSM and Counoise each secured 90 points for their "supple mouthfeel" and "clean, classy style," while the Clos du Robles rounded out the review lineup with a "charming, rounded" profile.
