Office/Project Coordinator
A North SLO County business office is seeking an adaptable, customer-focused professional to join their team as a Project Coordinator. This essential role involves handling a variety of office responsibilities, including clerical tasks and coordinating key project activities such as scheduling and billing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and deliver an outstanding customer experience while efficiently managing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet office guests, providing exceptional customer service while gathering and sharing information about products and services.
- Liaise with clients and internal departments, troubleshoot issues, and manage the information flow in client relationships.
- Assist with and coordinate various project tasks, including communication, quoting, scheduling, tracking deliverables, billing, and providing general administrative support.
- Support the accounting department with data entry, invoicing, payment processing, collections, bank deposits, and record maintenance.
- Handle receiving documents and collaborate with departments to track product receipts and returns.
- Provide additional support to office management and assist with general business administration tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service or administrative coordination experience required; prior scheduling or dispatching experience preferred.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and common business software programs such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Pay Rate:
- $22–$35 per hour, depending on skills and relevant experience.
Anticipated Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
